LIFESAVER give a gift to an Afghan family
16-Dec-2011To say Happy Christmas to everyone, LIFESAVER have given a present of a Kitchen Garden start up kit to a family in Afghanistan via Christian Aid.
The start up kit includes tools and seeds to grow a variety of vegetables as well as advice on how to sustain them.
In a country where 1 in four children die before their fifth birthday, we thought this sustainable gift designed to give children and their parents a well balanced nutritional diet would be the perfect (and green) way to say Happy Christmas to all.
